Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Chepa, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid accounts.

2. Description of service

Chepa is an AI-powered email automation platform that connects to your email inboxes (Gmail or IMAP), reads incoming customer emails, and sends automated replies generated by Claude (Anthropic). It optionally integrates with Shopify to access order data when generating replies.

You are responsible for the content of all automated replies sent from your account. Chepa sends replies on your behalf — you remain liable for those communications.

3. Account registration

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must not share your account or allow others to use it. You must be at least 18 years old to use Chepa.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Chepa offers the following plans:

  • Free: 30 emails processed, lifetime, 1 inbox (Gmail only).
  • Starter ($29/month): 300 emails per month, up to 2 inboxes (Gmail only), configurable reply delay, Shopify integration, discount codes, smart escalation.
  • Growth ($99/month): 1,500 emails per month, up to 5 inboxes (Gmail + IMAP), issue classification, customer history context, behavior rules.
  • Pro ($199/month): 4,000 emails per month, unlimited inboxes, everything in Growth.
  • Business (Contact Sales): 10,000+ emails per month, unlimited inboxes, dedicated support. Contact us at servicechepa@gmail.com.

Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically. You can cancel at any time through the billing portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.

If your payment fails, your account will be downgraded to the Free plan and your bot will stop processing emails beyond the Free tier limit.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Chepa to:

  • Send spam, unsolicited bulk email, or harassing messages.
  • Impersonate another person or company without authorization.
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation, including data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service.
  • Use the service to process emails containing illegal or harmful content.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

6. Email and data handling

By connecting an inbox, you authorize Chepa to read incoming emails and send replies on your behalf. You confirm that you have the right to automate responses from those email addresses and that your customers are aware they may receive automated replies.

You are responsible for complying with applicable email laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.) in your jurisdiction.

7. AI-generated content

Replies are generated by Claude, an AI model developed by Anthropic. AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are solely responsible for reviewing your bot's instructions and for any replies sent to your customers. Chepa does not guarantee the accuracy or appropriateness of AI-generated content.

8. Limitation of liability

Chepa is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chepa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to losses caused by incorrect AI replies sent to your customers, service downtime, or data loss.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Chepa in the 3 months prior to the claim.

9. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service unavailability.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
